Damaged Petals And Jagged Thorns
The soil from which we have all grown,
Has long been spoilt, don't you know,
From roots that used to shoot for moons,
To the seeds they sow through evil deeds,
We see the leaves that bleed for green,
But they hide the woods between the trees,
From mighty trunk to tiny stem,
If you look inside you'll find a friend,
Strong we stand to fight the storm,
Though firmly planted, sway back and forth,
To see our beauty we have to force,
For we are damaged petals,
And jagged thorns.

Hello Halo...
Very sad and true...
It didn't have to be this way but, we are followers of those who did...
It's one thing to be different it's something else to not be better...
We have people constantly following and if we're a wreck and if we're ignorant how can they be better?
Though I do see they're some amazing kids out there, we can hope they stay that way...
It all depends on the influence...
Adults make the kids...
ββGreat write!
