On The Seas Of Eternity

On The Seas Of Eternity

I dwell in the arc of a Wave
Being boldly enticed by the Moon
Touching neither Earth nor Air
I cavort within the Love of Life
I dream the Dream of Innocence
And drift on the Seas of Eternity...

 *
Author's note.
Was pleasantly surprised that an old PoemHunter poem is on YouTube
and set to music by Eric Herr.
Merci mille fois Eric for your uplifting music and all involved in the video.
Have rewritten it since and now follows.

I dwell in the arc of a Wave
Being boldly enticed by the Moon
Touching neither Earth nor Air
I cavort within the Love of Life
Do dream the Dream of Innocence
Drifting content on the Seas of Eternity...

Wow its awesome. Music, visuals with narration has been the way forward with poetry but it takes time to create and i would love to do more. It is done but very small number can.
i absolutely love it! Lovely to see your post. Will reply back as well. Px

Hey Pratibha good to see you here and I hope you are well and all the loved ones around you.
How is your latest book doing I say latest but that was some time ago.
So no excuses, you have a wonderful mindset and no doubt never short of unique ideas of how to write, shape and form a poem, also edit now, I dare say.
So I'm hoping a new book is possibly in the not too distant future works or even another team-up with your brother.
Good to hear from you my friend and apologies for being out of the poetry loop on here for a long while, for family and health comes first.

And with baited breath regards on your next book Pratibha, a wise person once said...
'There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow.'

Pratibha after reading your comment...I'm all misty! :)
And you have just made my Christmas card list!
Have also replied to your personal message.
Your Tangles and Knots is still on Amazon, not forgetting your SOJOURN: Transcending Seasons in conjunction with your brother and
I hope they're selling well.
And my sister Michele who is in publishing, highly rates and sings the praises of Bloomsbury Publishing (the original publisher of  the Harry Potter series), so if you fancy a change for a new book in the pipeline give them call, for you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Oh... and that quote author escapes me now but after a sleepless night and at four in the morning the eureka moment will arrive to crack it.

Hang in there Pratibha keep writing, never ever stop for this world needs its dreamers and may they never wake up.

Shaun x

P.S. Thanks for the sleepless night!! :)

Wel yn gyntaf beth all rhywun ei ddweud wrth bawb dan sylw ond diolch.
Nid yw hyn felly bardd erioed wedi cael cymaint o safbwyntiau am gerdd mewn cyfnod mor fyr.
Felly diolch yn fawr ichi am y weithred hon o garedigrwydd sy'n estyn allan ac yn cyffwrdd â chymaint o bobl.
Tybed bod angen rhywbeth cadarnhaol arnom ni i gyd i siarad amdano ar Ă´l digwyddiadau diweddar, mae ychydig o newyddion da a hwyl yn mynd yn bell.
Ac i weld, gwrando, mwynhau ac ymlacio.
Felly diolchaf i'r tîm dan sylw ac efallai y dylwn ei ysgrifennu yn Gymraeg!
Diolch eto ac yn hael.

Shaun :)

To clarify Marion, this was written by me six years ago on PoemHunter.
Eric Herr is the man who composed the music and it's on YouTube.
Glad you enjoyed reading and also listening to it as well.
With music to chillout to.
Thanks again Marion and hugs to you and as always Welsh hugs, the best hugs this world can offer anyone and is scientifically proven to be true:)

Thanks Nev for your superb comment and Eric Herr's music is captivating stuff, a real chillout theme and melody about it.
And I'm more than happy bunny for this was linked by good people days ago and linked to their social platforms so others can listen to as well.
Playing it forward so to speak.
They are Welsh and an above comment by me is all theirs, a good bunch and superb people.

See you soon and please remember to chillout in Miami.
You lucky son of a gun!
And just to let you know two of your books have arrived and just checked on Amazon tracking  which states that, the third one is arriving tomorrow that one is Casual Ties & Other Loose Associations.
Reviews for all to follow in good time and I'm looking forward to reading them.

And I look forward to your speedy recovery for you my brother.
All good things to you and family and have a good time :)

Message received loud and clear and fingers crossed there Nev.
and this so so poet will be reading his better's upped poems from tomorrow night.
Have made steady inroads with The Making of a Broken Man and your quality never disappoints or lets up, a more than liberal 197 poems in this book alone, on generous  par with previous books.
And a quick 'wish I could write like you' - love the three lines of Arc, the last line radiates. All Along The Watchtower speaks volumes of, what the hell is wrong us.
Superb and will finish it tomorrow, review will follow, but as always give it a day for it to register with Amazon and their process procedure.
I feel like a kid in a candy store, spoilt for prose choice and how sweet it is.

Your writing has perked up a soaking wet and demanding day.

Thanks for providing your worded frame shelter and mind refuge to escape from both.

And come on- you have got to make that Miami flight if there's a medical.
Bluff, blag, lie, cheat, trick, deceive and threaten the lot of them.
Subterfuge is the name of the game card to be played there and also on PoemHunter.

All good things to you Nev and family

Shaun:)

You mention a nature film 'Oceans' and will make time to watch it hopefully BBC made, for they do that sort of thing so well.

Will be reading more of you as this week moves on.
All the best to you Jac and thank you again.
