NORWICH

NORWICH

Buskers singing
Church bells ringing
Dads and Mams
With pushchairs and prams
This is my city

Kids on bikes
A man nobody likes
Lovers with joining hands
A rich gentleman nobody understands
This is my city

A library constructed entirely of glass
Little children screaming on the underpass
Bag lady and the puppet man
Goods being sold from the back of a van
This is my city

Georgia selling her retro clothes
The mayor with his chain who everybody knows
Posh high street stores with friendly faces
Serving ladies who carry airs and graces
This is my city

Please don't ever take my city away
The people and places brighten my day

:) It is a nice part of the country to live in, once you've got used to the Norfolk way of doing things !!

A Derby fan has to put up with the same eccentricities at their club as a Norwich fan I would imagine !! Clubs like ours, not amongst the biggest, have to cope with a more precarious situation in terms of everyday management and performance on the field so you do tend to end up in a certain frame of mind !!  :)

Wishing you all the best !

Take care my friend.  :)
