The mountain of poetry

The mountain of poetry

I fell asleep, had a dream
I was walking along a road
I came to a mountain
As I stood there looking
someone stopped and said
That is the mountain of poetry
So beware, don’t go there
I asked why they said
You will never be the same
Lightning strike I heard a voice say
Come to the mountain
And I walked to the mountain
And got to the base I heard
A voice say, beware, so I
Walked up the mountain
I could hear children singing
Bells, ringing and I got to
The top, and there was thunder
Lightning, and then I saw
The god of poetry, who looked
Like Moses I stood there
Looking at him and with
His magic stick he hit me
And lightning strikes
And he says, now go forth
And start a revolution of
Poetry on to the world
I woke up and looked outside
The sun was shining
The birds were singing
I have been to the mountain
A poetry.

Such a fun read Greg. The mountain of poetry so well narrated. I loved the line about starting a revolution of poetry on the word. That put a big smile on my face. Thanks for this my friend x

Greg thoroughly enjoyed what you have bestowed here and we need  to start a revolution of poetry onto the world. More than ever.
Nicely presented and written through-out and admire your poetic imagination to think this up.👍🏼
Apologies for being late here, but, back late tonight to catch up on your latest offerings my friend :)
