Wolfs meal

Rabbits swift dream was halted
Ears perked up , what was this ?
Looking up she saw to her terror
Squeel that followed
Was met with a growl
Chased by the beast, it ran so fast

Ohh have mercy on my little soul
Those eyes so frightened
As the beast glare followed.
Panting and snapping its large teeth
at its tail, the bunny squealed
Soon the wolf teeth, its body slashed

No more dreams its body contorted
Bones breaking so hard to dismiss
Still its fate it didnt scare her
Beast it Swallows
followed by its howl
That bunny meal would not be its last

Each of us we have our role
For those so enlightened
The beast hunger it mellowed
Finally the wolfs prayr where bequeath
Its hunger, the wolf felt healed
A pray it said, the wolf it dashed

That's the law of nature at work and with a superb twist.
Wonderful writing and wonder where you were going with it and wasn't disappointed.
Thanks for sharing and poetry kudos to your writing.
