Solitude

Solitude

Days like these,
They put me at ease.
With frosted windows,
I do as I please.
The comfort of a blanket,
Surrounded by my trinkets.
A mug full of tea,
But I never seem to drink it.
I enjoy sitting alone,
As the rain taps the window.
The outside blurred,
And a disconnected phone.
But, hey, that's okay,
I didn't want to leave today.
I'll just sit in my home,
And waste the day away.
