just florida

florida doesn’t seem like a big deal
but it is, at least to me
i was the one who wanted to go
im the one who needs to get away
and you forced her to go
when all she wanted was to stay
i would gladly take her place
i say I’m only a little mad
but it wouldn’t matter anyway
you still wonder why I’m mad at all
and I’ve given up on trying
to make you understand
this is just the way it is
im too young to know what’s best
for me apparently 
you make my decisions for me
im more than a little mad
but in the end
its “just” florida
