A Magnificent Day
When old is the day
and all day has been grey
the wind has howled
like a wolf on the prowl
Tree's have come down
much to squirrel's surprise
and even the ancient mouse
has met her demise
the wooded debris creaks
and all I can think?
Is...
how truly wonderful it is
to be a poet.
