Poem -
ADDICTION (acrostic)
Allowed to consume all that you had
Didn't understand, how things got so bad
Disease of the body, spirit and mind
Incarcerated... Child left behind
Callous, cold hearted, cruel you became
Tried to save you, no longer a game
I watched you crumble, so pail and thin
Only you have the power to change...to win
No... Please... Never again

A great poem Maddison, the pain spills over into your words so well as always. It flowed wonderfully, which to maintain within an acrostic poem is actually a lot harder to do than it looks. It didn't feel forced and gave the narrative of addiction so well. Always feel your emotion in your work Maddison, great job! A vote from me too:)
