AMEN

“What are you searching for?”

They asked me

“I am searching for peace”

I  answered them

“For how long are you searching for peace?”

They  questioned

“For quite a long time”

I  replied

“How did you come to know about peace?”

They  inquired

“Through the great texts”

I  explained

 “Are you confident that you will be able to find peace?”

They  queried

“Yes I do have confidence that I will find peace”

I  responded

“What gives you that confidence?”

They  persisted

“I have poetry and I write poetry, that’s what gives me the confidence”

I  asserted

“All the best”

They  wished me

Like  hope my smile has gone to them-

They and I joined together and uttered

“Amen”
