Poem -

Angelic Invasion

Angelic Invasion

He is not of unworthy Earth, not of claymation man
No commonality for one from spiritual clan
His eyes give him away, with their sad gentle stare
Such a cruel place for one's fate, to feel impaired

Poor cryptic angel with hidden inflictions tucked tight
His wings never unfurl, nor pose proudly for flight
He has forgotten how to fly, denies his divine providence
His halo hangs low, along with his self confidence

Oh, how I see what he could be in Heaven's preview
A touch of his love makes me feel beautiful and new
Yet he hangs his head in shame, defamed name in tow
Recoiling from the world's devastating cold blow

Dear soul, of unassuming beauty, rise and glean grace
Your presence is my safety, as my hiding place
Hold me in your arms, in love's charming persuasion
I stir with affection from your angelic invasion

A Lonely Journey

Oh Cheerie,
That's just gorgeous. Oh my gosh, that almost made me c*y. It's funny, I can so relate to that, and I can see the gorgeous, loving, empathtic person you so are within it. A beautifully sad story, wrapped within a golden heart. How awesome! You're fantastic! I'll never understand people, or life, but knowing you still brings glorious visions of a Heaven. It's going to be hard to pick out lines(first of all because I can't see(I was blinded by your beauty, not that crying thing)), and secondly, because, as a whole, it's so amazing, that it's hard to tag individual parts. But, here goes.

'He is not of unworthy Earth' (beautiful beginning. The statement catches you and draws you in, and points out the numerous flaws in a hard world, all in a few words).

'Poor cryptic angel with hidden inflictions tucked tight
His wings never unfurl, nor pose proudly for flight'
(So beautifully sad! But so awesome how you see the light in people!).

And(the most wonderful part)
'Dear soul, of unassuming beauty, rise and glean grace
Your presence is my safety, as my hiding place
Hold me in your arms, in love's charming persuasion
I stir with affection from your angelic invasion'

Beautiful, devoted, dream of a girl, with a lovely, faith-laden, plea, for him to see his worth, and a notion of perfect love. Awesome!!

I loved that, Cheerie. You are Queen of Quisp!(I couldn't think of a love 'Q', but I really enjoyed that cereal as a youngster, so it's related in that way).
You're a beautiful writer, and soul.
Love and hugs,
Matthew.

Thank you, Matthew. I love the way you dissect my poetry and show that you get the heart of the emotions and theme. That is such an honor to receive. There are people in this world who have such an amazing spiritual presence that shames the world and its values. Such gentle souls are persecuted and misunderstood because of their sensitive and empathetic natures. I wanted to portray such a soul that is a beautiful example of love, and yet he is made to feel unworthy....He just needs his halo straightened and his wings unfurled to see his true essence! Lol  Thank you for always showing such appreciation for my poetry. Love n Hugs, xo ;)

Hi Greg. Thank you. Some gentle souls in life seem as if they are not of this world, and do not seem to understand their beautiful presence. Even in the Bible God tells us to not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2)  xo ;)

Non-Book Writing Person Interjection:
I'm working on embroidering the letter 'M' on a piece of felt for my coffee table, if that counts. I'll let you guys read it when I'm done, if you'd like. Thanks.

Hi Pratibha. Thank you. I was trying to portray a man who is so beautiful in spirit that he is like no man on earth, metaphorically. But it could be taken as literal. There are a few special souls in this world that just are so special in spiritual mind and actions that have a hard time fitting in with the cruel ways of life that are abundant in this life. It is sad to witness their hard time fitting in when they are so loving and deserving of being appreciated for their values.  I do appreciate your kind support. xo ;)
