I stared death in it’s eyes and replied “take me”
They lied….they tried to break me
I swallowed my pride…before I took that ride
These are the days of our lives
I stood there begging…..hoping
I felt God left me there arms open
Head bowed now….searching
Doesn't God see me, that I’m hurting
My battles overwhelm meÂ
To hell is what they tell me
Judged without jury, convicted wrong crime
These our the days in this life of mine
I've knelt…..I have prayed
Blessing must have lost their way
They said I was stuck with it
Life…they told me good luck with it
Damn these dark clouds cover me
Death in the air hovers me
Life got me feeling older…colder
I looked momma in her face when I…told her
I stared death in the eyes….I rebuke you
These are the days of my life…to be continued!

I'm good homie... just enjoying life and blessing that come and go. Thanks about the poetry, it's been my passion since i was 10. i enjoy writing, it has helped me and so many others. also its my way of giving back for a past that was mysterious. I am working on some things that i am hoping will open other doors for me so we shall see. I am actually trying to put together a poetry slam. you never know where our minds will take us.
True That....You should follow your dreams while they remain fresh in your heart and mind and your works has a whole lot of power attached, to everyone of them......Do your thing man and don't look back except to say thanks too those, that assisted you along your merry way...
