Before I grew up

fine lines

figures in the time 

of when silhouettes was all you knew 

before we actually grew

up

enough's never enough 

for me to change what's rough

I've been through plenty of stuff

things that aren't astronamically correct

 just to try and get myself some sort of kind of respect. 

hoping that you see my eyes 

cause my eyes don't lie

I hope that in due time 

I'm lying 

about going through this craziness

so I may behave in this 

very moment where I find bliss

in being sober all a mist

of cowboys riding horses 

fairy tales always seem hopeless

but your hopelessness 

is what makes us

into these individuals of the past 

that once upon a time had the time to find prince charming

I find it quite alarming 

that no one believes in fairy tales anymore. 

I hope you won't stare 

when I try to wish upon a star 

that my long hair will reach the bottom of my castle 

so there's no hassle

for me to climb down 

and hop on the next persons back that'll carry me around 

hate me today 

hate me tomorrow 

parting with you is such sweet sorrow
