Poem -

Captivity

Captivity

A furnace lies deep within releasing infinite flames created by sin
Uncontrollable impulses tears life from my soul in the midst of a bloodcurdling voice’s dulcet tone

Captivity is a lonesome existence
My life no longer possesses persistence
Remove, relocate, nothing aspires
One can not run from evil desires

Nothing is
Nothing will be
Nothing to touch, hear or see

I am merely a broken product of  intolerance and human immoral actions
My aspirations build up only to gradually tear down into fractions

What will be will never stay
My crimson red heart soon will turn to grey
Hope, there is one who will not sever
I will give it all to the mighty throne of forever

Ah self-sabotage. I know that theme, we're well acquainted sadly. But there is always hope. Each time we get back off of the floor by remembering the power of love that brought this powerful universe into being, we get a little bit stronger. Its ok for toddlers to trip up, slip up, stuff up. "practice makes perfect" :D ❤

Exactly! Struggle only makes us stronger as human beings and more likely to realise the true meaning of life and love. :-))))

The other day I overheard a woman say to a very young girl of about 5 or 6. "Aw you're feeling a bit sore are you? That's the third time you've fallen over today... but you know what, it's ok cause it just means you're growing. I can see you've grown much taller this week!"
