Chains of Gravity: Astronaut Burn

In the stillness of the launch pad

Where dreams are ignited like rocket fuel

The countdown is echoed, and the jets roar

Crimson numbers are etched on a digital clock 

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0

Each tick of the clock is felt as a heartbeat

Pounding against ribs like a hammer

A pulse towards the unknown 

Fuel ignition is achieved, consuming old fears 

Each flame, a promise etched in greatness

Breaking iron chains forged by the weight of doubt

Flames are burned with determination and ambition 

As light burns, an astronaut is launched into lunar flight

Bound by an anchor of light

A meteor in orbit, a burning star of gas

High soaring is accomplished on wings of fire

Breaking free from the chains of gravity

The cosmic burn is embraced by the astronaut
