Chasing Rainbows

Stepping out of a patch of rain

 I'm headed for my rainbow

Do I have time or does time have me

Will my rainbow wait for me

Sometimes I find comfort in being sad

The rain comes again

My rainbow will come to greet me

I know hope again inside me...

Until it fades again

While I seek substance

I pray for rain that suites me

The rainbow I'm chasing

Will show itself again

Always it is taunting

I know one day I'll catch you

because my treasure awaits me
