Poem -

Comfort moon.

Beneath The surface a moons serenity, played conscious thought
with love

Romantic quotes of dear affection
winged like the silver
Of a dove

The midnight mystified the looms of the heart
And bared it to it's knees

Surrounded by the crimson Waves
longing but at ease

Motion like a gentle child
Played, rushing to the shore

And in the morning the light of glory
Converted the floor

A moment fleeting
Kissed a nightfalls way

And sang a song of solitude, welcoming home the day

in the heart of memories
that comfort moon
Does sway

Forgetting never the direction, each star to guide the way

For home is where the heart is, and mine
Is there to stay

Surrounded by the waves of ebony, the peace
Inside, at bay.

Dear Nardine,

I have just quickly read your poem, and it is absolutely spellbinding.  We are on our way out for the day, but I've made a copy of it, and will post my poetic response tomorrow morning.

My Dear Nardine,

It illuminates my darkness
It bathes me in its light
It leads me to where my heart is
The Moon makes everything so right

Love,
