Poem -

Curiosity Poor Cat

Curiosity Poor Cat

I ponder how the end will come
I do not fear death
But I am curious
Perpetually curious about everything
And there is that saying about a cat
So I doubt very much I will be in my bed
Or that it will be very peaceful
My curiosity takes me to the strangest of places
I'm that girl that you're yelling at
"Don't go in that house!"
"What are you doing?"
"Run, don't investigate that noise!"
I'm really not that brave
I just really need to know
How
What
Why
Where
I do not like the unknown
It has tried the patience of all those that love me
It has also caused me pain
But still, I persist
So if you could while perusing your newsfeed
Look for me from time to time
I'll be that girl gone missing
On top of the mountain
In the desert
Or the middle of the ocean
Looking for answers
Wanting the truth
And know that I may well have found satisfaction
But this cat ain't coming back
