Poem -

Day of Division

Day of Division

The loneliest of lights,
From the smallest of stars,
Comes on her softly
Revealing the liquid emotion
Spilling downward.
She wants to drown
Him in apathy,
Or to bleed him
Out of her.
Alas, he's embedded
Too deep in her,
In places she'll always find.
Once there was completeness,
Bursting moments of light
That her darkness surrendered to.
But that quickly faded.
Now she needs
A day of division
To be whole again
