Poem -

Dead silence

Dead silence

You took out
your emotional knife,

Gave me a short look of life
and struck me,

You took out your gun
filled with hate,

Pushed me a little too late
and fired,

Smiled
Turned around,

Dropped your armour
when the war had just begun,

You looked backย to see what damage youโ€™d done

The little that was left of me
Looked at you,

I triedย to find the light inside of you

I saw a trace
A little lost place
Where you still loved,

I tried to reach outย
But the second
that I beckoned,

You made a final choice
And at last raised
yourย hand

to take away my voice
