Poem -

DEAD SILENCE

DEAD SILENCE

You took out your emotional knife
Gave me a short look of life
and struck me

You took out your gun filled with hate
Pushed me a little too late
..and fired

Smiled
Turned around
Dropped your armour
..when the war had just begun
You looked backΒ to see what damage you’d done

The little that was left of me
Looked at you
Trying to find the light inside of you
I saw a trace
A little lost place
Where you still loved

I tried to reach outΒ
But the second..
..that I beckoned
You made one final choice
And at last..
..took away my voice
