Dear Grandad
Connected to you through a quiet night
If this is all I can do to have you in sight
Then I’m going to cherish it and hold it tight
Thank you so much for visiting me last night
Dreams have a beautiful way of keeping you connected
And in my heart I have kept it
You was a blessing to me
So beautiful to see
Im so glad you are hear
I have no worry I have no fear
When you are standing near
You free my mind
To show me strengths I have inside
The dream meant more
Than just the message in store
I see you as I once did before
So thankful that my mind lets me explore
And see all that I adore
I miss you I miss you I miss you even more
I’m so very glad that you’re ok
I hope to see you again

This poem was written a few moments after waking from a dream I had about him. Dreams are amazing and powerful things.
