DO PROCEED BEYOND THE MIRAGE

As IÂ traveled on the path of language
I fell down
As I obtained silence, I could rise up!
Many a time IÂ failed to receive through a language
Many a time IÂ failed to convey through a language
Language can only translate
Language can not transmit
At times language can not carry us
On some occasions language does trouble us
Do not stick on to a language
Do proceed beyond the mirage
A lot of words, a lot of sentences, much of grammar
Still many thoughts are waiting for expression!

Hi Rocish
Pretty poem, i agree, language and some spoken words can easily deceive us at times from expressing our truth, if humanity could only master the art of receiving through feelings, i think we would better understand and love one another.Â
Kind regardsÂ

Well spoken (Lady) Shirley and well written Rdchish,
Language bearers unfortunately sometimes does have a profound effect on those who aren’t
as fluent as others in a specific language, instead credit should be given when
it’s due, for their attempt of its mastery. Those which judges this
misconception, eludes the true essence of its meaning, through the
misperception, meant or lent it, by the body to its receiver. Just as
Shirley has spoken on, one day hopefully no one will face any scrutinism or prejudice
brought on simply because they were not able to speak the word of another, in another’s
land, or native tongue....When that shoe is placed on the other foot and I now am
the visitor in their country, then only will this practice of language profiling
be fully understood and hopefully eradicated... the language of love for
one another and the ability to assist, instead of dismiss or diss, in our differences,
shall we gain the true meaning of, not his kind or my kind but instead,
(mankind). Great poem as always and (Do proceed beyond the Mirage) of
boundaries, we all have faced in our lives, one time or another...Â
I like the poem. There is substance in what you say. Crossing the barrier of languages is the recipe for unification of mankind.
