Poem -

Doubt

Doubt

Everlasting guide, I ask do you witness mankinds demise?
Fulmenating pleas echo throughout your hand made work
Despite your almighty power devastation continues to lurk
A poisonous barrier has infused our conscious mind and soul
Revealing our deepest hidden motives while your hands have control

Another salvo condemns all ambition that heaven sends while the faithful subsist on dust yet refrain from losing trust

Essence decays
Immorality stays
Rendered hopeless by our ancestors self seeking ways
An inescapable bloodline, inevitably bound
Through precendant actions no hope can be found
No water, wine or worshipping the divine can account for healing this Ill fated time

Blind I may be
Through tear stained eyes I may see but no hours of calling have allowed me to be free
