Poem -

Doughnut

Doughnut

I
am in the middle
surrounded
engulfed
by
what’s perceived
as a life
sprinkled with colour
and goodness

how could she be sad?
she’s lucky
she’s ungrateful

I am colour blind
My taste buds have died
I don’t
own
rose tinted
glasses
