Exstie

Exstie

Since when did friendship require sex
Being there for each other is no longer enough I guess
Two people are nice to each other so that requires them to be intimate?
Even though one of them was never really into it
Still forcing to prove a point
Now not even wanting to smoke a joint
That connection is now broken
These days I could care less. When’s the last time we’ve spoken?
That bestie facade had me taken back
Defending you in these streets thinking you weren’t like that
But you were, like a typical nigga
Just waiting to shoot his shot, keeping them fingers on the trigger
And when you missed my heart
The friendship went dark
We fell apart
All because you didn't listen when I said I wasn’t feeling that spark
Now your hurt
Thinking I used you trying to drag me through the dirt
But you and I know my worth
We both gotta put in some work
Focused on shit, that’s not pulling us out this pit
If we ain't friends its clipped
Your true colors showed, and I’m not repainting shit.
