Poem -

fallen angel

held my head so high

but

as I fall from the heavens it has to

rules where broken

hopes die

love lost

I fall from the sky for a love I could not hide

a love that was never really mine to hold

so it slipped away

should have let him go but his eyes held mine

as he pushed me from cloud9

I lost my flight

and

all my might to hold back these tears

cold and bitter the fall like a storm in mid spring

I let go of my sanity

I began to scream into the night

into the stars

into the fire that now touches my skin
