Poem -
Happy never after
Don't leave your princess without the prince of her dreams
because a life without her prince is lonely
promise me you won't leave your girl
because she's the only one for you in the world
I'd never leave you for fame nor riches
nor a castle filled with princes
because what you have to give is more than I will ever need
and a princess like me prefers to give rather than receive

it's been a long time. I don't know what happened, couldn't get on the site for some reason. Now i'm here looking for some of my faves. Of yours, first I read 'Cold Stone Rock' very well done but too depressing for me- sometimes I've felt like that girl in your poem wanting the waves to pull me out to that 'great depressing ocean'.
THEN, I read this one 'Happy Never After'- what can you say about a woman declaring her devotion to her prince? A very lucky man indeed
