HEAVENS FLOWERY

HEAVENS FLOWERY

Nestled at the wayside of wooded lanes

Among grassy garlands and leafy terrains

Bowing in welcome to each passing guest

Each adorning a dreamy blue vest.

Found on moorlands and untrodden spheres

Sweet melodies echoing to elfin ears

A majestic vision of heavens flowery

Fairy folk bathe in their moonlight finery.

By the waters edge on desolate hills it's said

When the land lay barren and dead

From Heaven a solitary tear fell

Then sprang the beloved Bluebell.
