Poem -
IF ONLY
If I could visit heaven
If only for just one day.
Maybe for only a brief moment
Then this awful pain would go away.
I would put my loving arms around you
Then whisper my words of love so true.
But now that I have to carry on without you
It`s just the hardest and most painful thing I`ve had to do.
It doesn`t matter how I spend my days
It doesn`t matter what I do.
No morning dawns
And no evening falls
When my love, I don`t think of you.
For Andrew my son 25/2/78 4/5/09 I love you sweety xx

Georgina, it made me cry. It was so softly written and flowed beautifully, every line was written with true emotion. It got me right in the heart and made the tears roll. I just thought of my sons. The first few lines were a clincher and drew me straight in. Such a heartfelt write, when poetry moves you like that, it is special. A big vote and nom from me:)
