ILLUSIONS OF HAPPINESS

The illusion of happiness,

seems to conceive us all, when in fact

we're the one's being mind freaked

just because someone smiles, and appears

to be on top of the world, doesn't always mean

they are ok underneith

smiles and cries, light vs dark, we sometimes

battle with our own salvation

the pain and hurt, we keep bottled up

can implode within and cause complications

behind those smiles, are deep painful emotions

slowly eating us away from the inside

those tears eventually will drown all our sorrows

and completely disintergrate those smiles

no feelings left to cling on, no happy thoughts

to reminence, just a blurred illusion of what once

was a life, full of bliss

pay attention to the signs, and reach out your hand, to someone in need

someday that someone may be you.....

one day that someone could be me......
