Poem -

Invisible Choristers

Invisible Choristers

Nature chants an angelic a capella prayer
Whilst the invisible choristers sweep the air
Wondrous wings unfurl to this oblivious world
A pleasant presence from heaven, gilded and pearled

Hidden from sight, but never tethered out of reach
The caressing breath of God whips waves at the beach
As sung songs from seraphim soothe the setting sun
I sense the Lord's forgiveness in the wind's graceful run

And I wonder - What's His will for my life and love?
The burdens of my heavy heart held high above
Waiting for invisible choristers to plunge
Mercy into my heart, to let my pain expunge

Hi Cherie, there is always great beauty in music and this piece brings music and words together in what is pretty much  a spititually uplifting modern day  Psalm - It's just beautiful and I hope that with Gods will you will soon fully embrace the healing power of music and Gods Love. Thank you for sharing and stay strong, have faith and believe...always!

HI Lodigiana...I love how you compared my poem to a modern day Psalm...How honoring...Thank you!  Music is a great healer as well...So true!  The overwhelming word upon my heart right now is "mercy"....I desire that so desperately in God's grace....Forgiveness and compassion with love are a powerful healing agent.  I am trying to be strong....allowing God to lead me..I believe so much in true love...I believe it can overcome all obstacles with time and God's will. Thank you for your encouragement, Lodigiana...Love n Hugs, xo  C

Oh his Stevie!  Thank you so much!  This one is near and dear to my heart...One I wrote after prayer and not being able to sleep...It just flooded out of me.  I am so excited that you found it beautiful, deep, and expressive.   I can't ask for more of a validating comment.  Bless you!  xo  ;)  Cherie

hey, sis, feels so good to see your amazing work again, this site would be wanting, without your poetry(I would probably quit here) felt the deep emotional investment in  your words,  streams may stop flowing in winter (in the North) but this poem reads reads like a flowing stream of inspiration   and testifies to the many  gifts God has bestowed to you, it is quite lovely thing to read and to meditate on, much like a stream
wishing you the best for the holidays, sis, cheers

Hi brother Chris!  Awww...Your words mean so much to me...I was off for a little while, but found inspiration again to write..I am moved by your words...It means a lot to me right now to feel that my work is appreciated....My poetry is a personal part of me...and my emotions are always in them...The underlining theme that pulled at my heart today was that of seeking mercy and grace from God right now in my life....I wish you a very Merry Christmas!  Love n Hugs, Sis C

My Dearest Cherie,

"Hark The Herald Angels Sing"
Arias that heal broken hearts they bring
Sent by God when he heard her prayers
She knows that He will e'er be there

Love,
Larry xxx

Amen!  I know God is listening to my prayers and sending me signs in my life that his Grace is at work...and Mercy is what I have been asking for in pain.  God is in control even when I feel life is spiraling out of control...His angels are all around as encouraging guides and hoping we will feel their presence....I know God is with me...and my dear friends....Love n Hugs, Cherie
