It's You

It's you. It's always been you. It's you when I wake up, and when I fall asleep. Those little moments when I see or read something, and they make my heart explode for a second or I get that warm feeling in my face, it's you. It was so hard for me to see this until now. It's funny because when I realized this I was driving by a wide open field and the blue sky and I saw how well they complimented each other. I was drinking a cup of coffee. The taste of the creamer and the coffee blending beautifully together reminded me of you and I. I see the way the right colors collide, and how the melody of rythim and tempo makes the msuic so perfect. The feeling of a soft and fluffy blanket, or the sound of rain on pavement, the way the sunset looks in the middle of September, the colors of the trees in a town covered in trees looks in October. These are all of the things that I find so comforting. They make me feel at peace. I find a little piece of these things in you, and a little piece of you in these things that I love.

Hey there friend! I know it’s been a little over six years but I just want you to know that I found the one. And I will be saying this exactly to him on our wedding day soon. Thank you. Much love.
Thank you reading my poem and I am so glad you enjoyed it! I do love to write and formatting is not my strong suit. Thank you for the feedback!
Thank you for sharing your work ! :)
Mayce! You labeled this piece as nonsense, however, I remember these feeling quite vividly when I met my future husband. It was him…everything seemed to begin and end with him…I flowed through things, circumstances, and breath after breath with his name on the tip of my tongue. Beautiful write! Welcome!
