Poem -

Just Another Year.

Autumn falls.
Soon winter calls.
Leaves fall softly from soon to be naked trees.
They float to the ground with graceful peaceful ease.
Sky coloured sickly grey.
Outside children no longer joyfully play.
Daytime turns to darkness of night.
Soon the cold will deeply bite.
Laughter now only heard indoors.
Hibernating elders loudly snores.
Rain and wind will soon cause havoc.
For the wildlife animals the bitter cold snow will shock.
But life still goes coldly on.
Until the signs of spring does don.
Then life again will bloom and blossom.
Until winter returns and holds us all to ransom.
