Me and my monkey...

Me and my monkey like husband and wife,
Through thick n thin travel together through life,

A mere existence he cuts me no slack,
Whenever he's craving for gear or Crack,
I've carried him with me like some chronic affliction,
The monkey on my back the class A addiction,
I've tried many times still I cannot break free,
There just seems no parting my monkey and me,
We're in at the deep end and hurtling of track,
Is there no escaping this dead weight on my back?
It's eternal damnation is destined to be,
The future awaiting my monkey and me,
God knows I've tried quitting think last time was the tenth,
But I can't seem to do it just ain't got the strength,
So resigned to my fate that I always will be,
One half of a pair that's my monkey and me.

If I may make a suggestion. The more you think about you getting rid of your problem is a problem. If I may instead of thinking about what habits you feel you want to break. Stop thinking about that. Find something that you enjoy doing. Pray. Try to turn all negatives into positives. One moment at a time. It takes times sometimes. It will be all right. It takes a lot of discipline and patience. Take it slow. Don't give up please.
It's not easy, but ANY THINGS IS POSSIBLE.
