Merry Berry

Merry Berry

Waiting for the merry berry
to find my brain and numb it
bad news I don't want to face
just disappear from this place
On number two and nothing happening
still disturbed, still upset
licking my lips in frustration
head still full of information
need something stronger
that will last longer
I order two shots
of his best mind-blowing mixture
Gawd it tastes awful
but my mind is now blurred
my words drawled and slurred
finally done its all gone
- until tomorrow

As always Susan,

Your humor and poems go hand-n-hand...Always brings a smile to the face and a giggle, to always go along with the mrerry berry, to the belly. Your poems cuts hilarious like a knife and always leaves us, bursting in laughter and forever requiring stitches, to mend the burst.....Lovely poem from a wonderful poetess, once again...

Kindest of all regards,

Jimmy
