A mother and a daughter

Alone in the sea of despair,

There remain's a tear.

Between a Daughter and a Mother,

All because of a choice in a significant other.

Even though love may bloom and spark for her dear mother but should the child be happy,

Is it wrong for the daughter to have a boyfriend who's sappy.

Does it make it ok to put walls up because you can never trust again,

Should it be held against you as a sinn.

Is it alright to feel like you are roaming the earth trying to find out just who you are,

Does it make it wrong to dream big and make wishes on star's.

Should a child not dream of things she knows she may never succeed,

Maybe she does not know yet what she just may need.

But she is a daughter making due with what she has and holding on to dreams,

And taking on the world with a new tactic and all with good means.  

And sewing back together the tear between a mother and a daughter in the sea of despair.
