My Journey

In the middle of nowhere

not knowing where this road will end

I don't care how long I have to wait

but I hope when I get there I find a friend.

I've travelled many journeys before

except this time I must go alone.

I must use everything I know and everything I've learnt

to go the way I've been shown.

I've travelled through autumn, winter and summer

and I've walked through storms of rain and snow

and no matter what I'll never stop walking

because on and on I must go.
