Not of my blood

Though you are not of my blood I have watched you grow I’ve seen all your struggles and I just want you to know I did my best to guide you through the high and lows I’ve seen you fail and succeed I won’t ever leave I’ll watch you achieve and come out on top of all the things you thrive to do please remember that though you are not of my blood I have and will always love you, you are my sweet child and I’ve raised you as mine though it’s been hard seeing others being involved I will stand by your side until the day I die for though you are not of my blood you are still my child I bathed you, I raised you, I watched you achieve each and every mile stone, I praised you and prayed for you each step of the way and when you grow old and no longer need me to change you and tell you what to do just remember no matter what life puts in your way my sweet boy i love you
