Poem -

Ocean Blue

Colors of You

Ocean Blue

Where my emotions once thrashed and crashed
Spilling uncertainty upon life’s lonely shore
I paint colors of you in deepest ocean blue
The truest hues to pull me through
I feel the bathing beauty of your soul
Though I cannot render the romantic roar
Of your benevolent waves with sensual splore
Your heart plays emotive music in cerulean hue
Drawing me into the blue mystery of you
Your gentle current calms my mind’s surging, stormy seas
A séance, with soothing summoned spirit seizes me
And gathers me into your affection’s tidal pool
As I begin to swim in those divine eyes of promise
Saturated in your soul’s wistful words, swirling honest
I feel your intentions so true, in ocean blue
In wooing waves, your seductive sea overpowers me
And I paint, with timeless treasured tints, untainted
Feeling your love surround me in water’s wafture
A perfect picture of you, rolling romance’s offer
Pouring compassion, with desire’s dip for immersion,
Soaking me through
Your love pulls me into tempting tides of forever…
In ocean blue

A Lonely Journey

Oh my gosh, Cheerie.
You must be remarkably intelligent, as I don't know how you can sustain such beautiful, loving thoughts for so long! I'm reading this, and I'm thinking, wow! this person is amazing!(you), and incredibly fortunate(your subject). Often times they say too much of a good thing is not good, but your poem proves that in love, too much of a good thing is not possible, and is amazing.
And you're amazing! What a beautiful poem.
I know you like favorite lines pointed out, and mine are:

Your heart plays emotive music in cerulean hue
Drawing me into the blue mystery of you
(gorgeous)

and

Pouring compassion, with desire’s dip for immersion,
Soaking me through
Your love pulls me into tempting tides of forever…
In ocean blue
(seductively beautiful).

OK, again, you've written love differently, and more beautifully.
You have taken your crown back.
You are the Splore of Sentiment!! (I think you made up that word). KIDDING!
Truly, truly beautiful, Cheerie.
I think you may be part Angel.
Love and hugs,
Matthew.

Hi  Matthew...I did not make up "splore"....lol....It means to frolic...I always try to be a bit different in how I depict a scene by carefully chosen words.  I do love it when you point out which verses you like...Thank you.  That helps me. I like that you found them to be "seductively beautiful"....Yay!  Thank you for that.  I saw so much serenity in blue colors as I wrote this.  I love the ocean and the beach...so to envision love as this succession of blue waves of emotions surrounding one seemed a beautiful way to express love.  I am glad you got it!  It is nice to feel appreciated for my work.  I love writing so much and want to touch others on some emotional level, and you get that.  I learn from your emotional writes of incredible imagery.  You keep me motivated.  Thank you so much, my dear friend.  xo Love n Hugs, Cheerie

" DO YOU NOT LIKE RED, THEN ? "
It is " romantic ", you know ! Well, in the right " hue " !
" The power of love is a curious thing.
Makes one man weep. Makes another one sing.
Takes you on a RIDE. Like a little white dove.
More than a feeling. That is, THE POWER OF LOVE. " Do you not think ?
You, learn from love. Well, most do. How about you ?
P.S. Done, any thing good, lately ?
TAKE CARE. X  :)

HI Richard...I do like red, as it is the color of passion!  Lol  But in this poem blue was more appropriate for a soothing kind of feeling of love....a calm collective feeling.  I like Huey Lewis and the News as well....Great quote from the song, "The Power of Love."  I am still learning and laughing in love...trying to figure it all out in life and love...and writing my heart out by its inspiration.  ;)  Thank you.  Love n Hugs

" WHATEVER, TURNS YOU ON. " LOVE.
It kinda fits. As you are now considered " poetry in motion. " By some.
It is nice to think. You, appreciate a fan-base. Good, on " ya " !!!
What, it is to be popular ? ( I would not know ).
Keep up, the great work. It " suits " you. Life, is about experience...and learning through, that. So, you can spread the message....all, understand.
LOVE, IS EVERY THING. :)

I do not consider myself anything other than a peer poet on here...learning and sharing with others....I appreciate any who take time to read and leave their thoughts.  I appreciate encouragement and opinions.  You most certainly WOULD know what it is like to be popular, as you have the highest followers of anyone I know on here...lol...and your experience is invaluable.  Love is everything!  This is ingrained on my heart.  xo ;)

" WHATEVER TURNS YOU ON ? "
Poetry of prose or verse is not the be-all and end-all, you know. There are other " things " IN LIFE !!! It, is a matter...of finding more, of whatever you " fancy " ! Surely ?
YOU HAVE TO LIVE. TO LEARN. MORE. X

Lol...I realize poetry is a form of expression of myself, and because of inspiration in life and love, THAT is what motivates me to write.  Learning is a very important part of life...and to stop learning is to stop living...I learn just by reading your comments...lol  Thanks, Richard. xo ;)

" You, have a grasp on what matters ! "
Do you not ? Well, in your mind. And, that is important. Especially, at this stage....of your, life. In the end, you see what gives to you. All, you want.
Through " breathing " you sense the inner and outer limits of " experience " !! Well, I assume so. By, what has been passed, over the years. Now, used to maximum effect in establishing your " credentials ", as a conveyor, AND MESSENGER, of love...and, MORE. XX

:)  I feel like you are giving me a very spiritual psychic reading in your assessments. Lol/ I take your words to heart. Experience is my best guide in life I have found....I like what you said about a messenger of love and more....That sounds like a great goal!  I hope that "in the end I see what gives to me"...and "All I want"...That sounds idealistic!  ;)  Thanks, Richard. xo ;)

It, is symbolic and metaphoric.
The subtle communications within this " craft " ! You, master the detailed finese of sending, to another, the gestures, signs, and moves of emotion and passion relating to the ups and downs of " the world " !
Some call it cultured. I feel, and sense more to, it, than, THAT !! Get, me ?
Why, would you not understand ? The significant transference of passionate intensity and intent ! Within the " mainframe "......and, " frame " !!!  :) :)
IF YOU HAVE, IT, WHY NOT SHARE, IT.

Lol...Okay, I will share it and give my pen a chance to compete with the sword in words.  Thank you for all your support. xo ;)

My Dear Cherie,

Your beautiful poem has taken me to the Seas of Infinity.

I lose myself in the surf of you
It brings waves of passion, tried and true
I drown in the Sea of Ecstasy
As Poseidon's son possesses me

All my love,

My Dear Cherie,

Since I was a little boy with crayons, aquamarine has been my favorite color.  It is kind of an oxymoron to use the word "blue" for the description of a sad person, isn't it?
Thank you for your lovely praise.

All my love,
Larry xxx

I agree.  Blue has a calming beautiful effect...and seems to soothe more than be a color of sadness...I always love your thoughts and insight.  Thank you. xo  Love n Hugs
