when the light child came home

God give me strength to hold back the tide
give me strength to fight for the light
for dark is not me and i wish to see the glorious sunrise once more before me
i can believe i can percieve
the light at the end of all that is me
i stop i wait i breath and in that moment of transient progression i feel peace
dont let me go lord nurture me till im grown from dark to light from sorrow to joy
for in lifes duality i will learn to fly
i dont fear anymore in the dark it was just me waiting at the edge of space to be forgiven to feel redemption
and perhaps one day born again in the womb of time no longer a caterpiller but an angelic butterfly a relic unfolding his grace to the light
grace sweet grace unbound unfettered
when the light child came home
