On Golden Wings

On Golden Wings
　
He appeared to me on pair golden wings
Offering the peace and love that divinity brings
He has travelled all of heaven and earth
He’s had a sacred heart since the day of his birth
To my faith he holds the only key
He kneeled a said a holy prayer for me
He lives up where the mighty eagle flies
God’s heavenly angel watching over earth and sky
He carries many blessings from above
For he is the true embodiment of love
He is on a journey of heart and soul
To bring peace and love his ultimate goal
His healing touch could melt even a heart of stone
Since he came into my life I no longer feel alone
He helped to replenish and restore my faith
While I bathed in the light that is his grace
He gave me hope for a promising new tomorrow
Washed away all of my tears of grief and sorrow
The morning sun rises and the evening sun sets
Absent of him my life would be full of regrets
He wrapped his faithful wings around me
I was a lost soul till the day that he found me
If there comes a day that we have to part
He will live on deep within my loving heart
