Poem -
Poison
delicious poison
ready to serve
drink!
self sabotage
It's common sense
think!
a distinct flavor
chase it down
drink some more
an after taste
feeling ill
brain and core
cognac
warm and soothing
intoxicate and tipple!
double shots
too much to swallow
watch it trickle!
addictive narcotic
highly addictive
hope to remedy
pain is now chronic
cardiac tumor
a heart ache malady
a flush cleanse
a new beginning
drink again!
fresh juice
it's not poison
think again!
spring water
pure and flowing
guzzle down!
water is harmless
but be informed
still may drown!

Hi Bahar, very thoughtful write, they have stopped advertising tobacco why not alcohol. I enjoy a drink myself but don't need it, unfortunately some do. Enjoyed read, William xox.
