Poem -

Say Something Profound

Say Something Profound

Say something profound, or nothing at all
I can take the silence if its intent proves revealing
Any response may help to stir that secret place
Where self-absolution is not allowed
Forced to look to one another for redemption
Where the integrity of love is filled with grace
Hold me close with your eyes, with sincerity's stay
See the pleading need in me, seeking validation
So many times, (too many to keep number)
I needed comfort, like a child, solaced in her slumber
I want to crawl upon your lap, in memorable wrap
And creep into the heartbeat of your mystery
To tenderly discover the depths of my lover
Instead of only beholding a lonely hinting trace
I stare into the face of my future, constantly
Trying to find the solidarity in you for me
Take comfort in my commitment's consistency
It is the genuineness of a wife, crippled by her devotion
Craving to touch the forbidden lands of your mind
With innocent intentions, to make our love refined
Touch me with sensual hands of word's justification
They always explain the truth without lame hesitation
Yet, if you say something profound, powerful, promising
To match the pure proclamation in your kiss
I will listen, intently, saying nothing at all,
In the kindness of silence with gratitude's enthrall

If a poem was true love, it would be this one! There's a pure tenderness and endless love so passionately expressed in this. Very gracefully written, line by line, and so beautiful!¬†ūüėäūüĎŹūüŹĹ

Hi Silent Dreamer....Thank you.  Those are nice compliments.  Sometimes, we need to hear in words what we already know in our hearts and from actions....but words can have profound impact.....like a vow when heard out loud.  A touch says so much...even a sincere look can have prolific impact as well.  I am every thinking of what romance looks like with love...Thank you. xo

Hey.  I am transcribing videos and audio interviews, lectures, sermons, instructions, legal meetings, doctor lectures, educational classes, etc. that need to be typed up in a written form for companies.  Yes, I get paid to do it....I am in training and graded on my work.  It's hard because I have to memorize a 40 page style guide on grammar and formatting what people say.  I am also timed, so I get really nervous that I will run out of time before perfecting my work without errors.  I am getting ready to promote my book in book stores too with book signings events....and my kids will be out of school for the summer soon....lots going on.  ;)

Thank you, Greg.  My book, "The Healing Touch, The Story of Falina's Gift" is already in book stores and can be ordered online through Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com under my pen name, Cherie Leigh.  I am so behind on my current new book....as I am renovating my house we just bought and trying to work doing the transcription work.  I hope I can get focused on it this summer. Thank you for your very kind support.  xo

A Lonely Journey

Cherie,
That is just gorgeous!
The longing to know someone's mind, I love that you think like that. I love getting to know people's minds, and thoughts, it enhances and broadens your own mind. I think that's why I love to read(probably you too).
Great write, Cherie. You're quite an interesting, nice person.

Matthew.

Hi Matthew.  You got it!  Thank you. When you love someone, you want to know their mind, dreams, their deepest thoughts, and of course their reciprocated feelings too...lol  We can learn so much from paying attention to the details of another's personality.  And, yes, I love to read, as you do broaden my mind....We should always want to learn and grow.  Bless you for our very kind comments.  I appreciate the support. xo ;)

Cherie....
There are so many expressions of soft caresses, tender strengths and strong convictions in this write.  Loving is an adventure however it is also a condition, a way of life, an existence,  a rock that can't be moved, a want and desire that is consuming, it is profound lying between the alpha and the omega and most importantly it is an eternal expression that lingers on your soul, your spirit and your fingertips.

I love this line...so beautiful...it speaks to me:
"Touch me with sensual hands of word's justification"

Hi Val. Thank you so much.  You really get it! Lol  I should know someone who writes such passionate writes would.. ;)  You quoted my favorite line of this poem because to me it just says the heart of how much a touch can convey just as much as powerful words can.  Loving is an adventure, condition, and way of life for sure! Thanks for your insightful and valued opinions.  xo ;)
