Poem -

Sighing is Sexy

Sighing is Sexy

A well configured kiss is hard to resist
And a longing gaze should never be missed
But I live for sensual sounds that vex me
So, in my heart and mind, sighing is sexy

It's breath of contentment, caressing my ear
Soft and seductive, quite arousing to hear
An acknowledgement of pleasure at its height
Love's invitation to explore more delight

Such a sweet synchronous sound of affection
An affirming coo in erotic expression
Comforting assurance when two hearts align
I've seduced your soul, and you've seduced mine

My desire rises with intense anticipation
Your auditory sensation is my fixation
You have my attention. Go on!  Perplex me!
There's no denying, that sighing is sexy

very lovely cherie.

i always admired your ability to
tastefully romanticize what many
would consider commonplace themes.

is there anything you cannot seem
to make magickal?

bravo!

Hey J!  I like your commentary because I really think a lot of people take for granted the simple beautiful things about love....and even a sigh is such a magical natural phenomenon when in the presence of heightened pleasure around the one you love.....It is bonding ...Okay, I just realized that what I just said sounds a a bit weird, but I am weird,...lol  But, to me, sighing is sexy.   Thanks, J.  xo ;)

i dont find it weird at all my friend.
it makes perfect sense. i (personally)
just tend to get lost in moments which
pass before they occur. or never
existed outside of myself to begin with.
(see, in a weird contest i get the runner
up trophy eh?)

my imagination is stronger than my
ability to see, feel, and therefore
acknowledge personal feelings.

so i create alternates which reflect
something more than the emptiness
im more accustomed to.

probably not too healthy but it is
what it is.

Lol....I think we tied in the "weird contest"  ...I know I use my imagination a lot to escape life, but I am not quite up to par with you missing it altogether...lol.  I can get lost in moments, but I tend to want to linger in them and not want them to pass before I even experience them.  You made me laugh.  I kind of take photographic images in my head of beautiful moments to hold onto so they can become poetry I guess in the future..Thanks... :)

Hi Keith...Thank you so much!  You got what I was saying....that a sigh says so much as a sensual expression of emotions.  I am so glad you liked it...Bless you, my friend. xo ;)

Guido you say?  You are laughing and making fun at my sentimentality over a sigh?  ;)  I know you think I am so crazy in the way I am over the top romantic and sentimental over love and its many expressions...but sighing is a beautiful part of love's expression....sigh.....lol  Okay, umm...Guido (if that is your real name), I am sure I do not know you and you would not know anything about me.  But I am very happy you liked this so well that you pinned it.  ;) xoxoxoxo  C

My Dear Cherie,

THE CONTEST OF SIGHS

"Oh beautiful mystery ladies"
"I lay blindfolded in bed"
"Challenged by my Soulmate"
"To single her out from the rest"
"So one by one"
""Sigh" in please"

One by one, ten lovely women sighed for him
Upon the last sigh, he proclaimed
"My Soulmate is number seven"
"For no other sound stirs such excitement in my heart"

All my love,
Larry xxx

Lol...This is so funny, Larry!  "Sigh in please,".......Lol.  When you love someone, you definitely know their nuances, habits, mannerisms....and yes!...even their sighs!  This response is so original and hilarious....I know you understand my sentimentality over a simple sigh, in a very romantic passionate setting.  A heart knows what it wants....and a sigh is very validating of that whole recognition and comfort of being with your lover.  Thanks Larry for entertaining me and being so supportive.  xo Love n Hugs

COMMUNICATION IS KEY......however it is achieved. You have to understand, in great depth, the motivations and passions of the one you wish to connect to, and then pass on your truthful integral heartfelt message which portrays your assimilated fundamentally cooperative cohesion. No sticking points are in operation as you transmit your inner belief system as well as your directive relating to the heightened interest. The words alone do not convey all which has to be conveyed....so sounds of sympathy correlated with emotion come in to play. The playing of a heartbeat bringing forth melodic bridges between the symbiotic souls has its energies and effects aired for the harmonies to be intensified !! The weight of the measure is gauged by the instinctive manipulation of the others requirements, leaving no doubt as to the importance of the relationship !
Great idea to use such lucid analogy to represent human wants for warmth and safety in anothers presence. The partnership is paramount to furthering the lives of those concerned, so is encouraged by enthusiastic support when necessary e.g during times of deepest coupling and emblazened choreographed ritual, to bring power to the trading of spirit as well as other concerns. Neat piece. Well diagnosed sympathy with core valued synchronization. Take care. XX :) :)

Hi Richard...You are so right, ....communication is key!  When two people feel each other's hearts and understand the dynamics of their relationship, then a simple sigh can say so much as interaction between them.  A sigh can be selfless and assuring ....It is a very spiritual expression in my opinion...and totally spontaneous and natural....and I find that beautiful.  Thank you for your kind support.  You really keep me focused on writing poetry that is emotional and meaningful to me...Bless you. xo ;)

Hi Carey.  Thank you!  I am happy you liked it.  I sometimes look at things a bit differently...lol...but  I think sighing is a very sentimental expression of feelings...xo ;)

Hi Cheerie,
What a gorgeous sentiment, and so beautifully put to words. You're amazing, my friend!
Sighs are the heart's way of exhaling, and expressing the love that has warmed and guided them to that place where they want to be for all time, with another heart just like theirs.
That's beautiful...Sigh. SEE!! Now my heart is sighing! lol.
Amazing write, amazing person, you're filling up my Pin thing. lol.

Great to know you, Cheerie! You make the world a much better place.

Love,

Matthew.

Hi Matthew!  I think the way you described a "sigh" is more poetic than I tried to relay it...lol  That is not fair!  ;)  Sighing is a state of comfort and acknowledgement of an inexplicable feeling that finds its way to express itself in a simple validating sound.  I am sentimentally a bit weird, but I just love LOVE, and every aspect of how it affects the heart and soul.  You seem to understand...Thanks!  You are the best!  xo Love n Hugs, Cheerie

LOL. Oh no it's not, Cheerie. You're the writer here, I'm just someone who writes flobbergasteries, and then pretends they're good. You're the one who writes 'sighmasters' (it's like a thighmaster, but instead of building up your thighs, the writing builds up your heart).
I'm sooooo with you on the love thing. When done correctly, there's nothing left in the world besides that.
Thank you!!

Matthew.

Lol...I write "sighmasters"...Lol...How do you come up with this stuff so spontaneously?  I think I could use a thighmaster...but I am too invested right now in the sighmaster.  When done right, you forget all about thighmasters and any other gadgets to help health and just live on love....You are so funny, M.  xo ;)

The Sighmaster, by Cheerie! That would be a great commercial, and product we could sell.
I've taken the liberty of writing up the commercial(you just keep writing those beautiful poems):

Take One: (action):

Are you tired of that flabby heart?
Is the only time you let out your breath audibly, as from sorrow, weariness, relief, or love, when you get punched in the stomach by a passerby?
Well, get the Sighmaster, by Cheerie!
The Sighmaster by Cheerie takes that lackluster, lethargic heart, and turns it into a giant ball of warm goo, just by reading some simple, lovely poems! In just 5 minutes a day, you'll be sighing like a crazy person on Quaaludes, without all the fuss of that messy mental institution business! It rellly works!(even if you can't spell really!). Here are some customer testimonials:

-Paul Woodheart, Farmer, and one of the largest felt growing plantation owners on the east coast, of Guam:
"When I started the Sighmaster 2000, I was skeptical, but then I read some of Cheerie's poems and my heart grew many sizes(like that Grinch guy), and exploded from my chest. There were bits of skin and capillaries everywhere, but that's why we pay the cleaning crew. Thank you, Cheerie!"

-Merthyl Numbticker, Marsupial Pocket Lint Cleaner, and Inventor of the Nickel(after she found the four cent piece of the early 1920's to be too cumbersome(14 lbs.), and restrictive toward mackerel pyrchases):
"My heart was a leaden piece of sodden wood...until I tried Cheerie's Sighmaster 3000! Now it's an amoebic granule of festitude! Gracias, Cheerie!"

-Schmer Sadorgan, Head Tailor at Mexico's Premiere Nudist Colony, Senor Wewe's:
"Yo tiengo una palabra grande en los pantelones verde!
Donka, Cheerie!"

So, I think we've got something here, Cheerie! With your brains...and your backing...and your beauty...and my...nail clippers!, we can make it big. So, get to work, please, so I can begin reaping benefits. Thanks!

Matteo.

Lolololololol...and LOLOLOLOLOLOL!  This commercial almost feels real!  You got me all engrossed.  I especially liked the review by the marsupial pocket lint cleaner...What an interesting job that must be!  If I can get people like that interested in my sighmaster, then I should look into creating the sighmaster 1000, which promises more sighs per second than a heart can beat. You have me motivated, Matthew....I see the potential...You have my attention! Lol  xoxo  :)

Love that you have a wonderfully warped sense of humor! You're the best! Most people on here would just say 'Matt, you're a dork', but than most people aren't you, are they?
I actually used to be a marsupial pocket lint cleaner in Australia, but then a wombat ripped my face off when I got lazy and tried to bring a shop vac up in there. It hurt, but at least I got rid of my worst feature. Wombats are touchy in case you ever clean them.
Thanks for being awesome!

Lolololol.....I have a different perspective of wombats now....but they still look cute....but I have to take notes that they are a bit touchy and not to have a shop vac anywhere near their pouch.   Got it! Thanks.  You have had many interesting careers...You are the best!  xo ;)
