A sinners song

I knell before the church
Lost….hurt
Guilt, shame
This reputation I brought to my name
I ask to be forgiven
I ask this to anyone who will pay attention
This is my sinners song
Weak, beaten down…..struggling just to hold on
Tears fall cause I weep
Pain exist…soul deep
I knell…head bowed, heart open
Do they understand my cries…I’m hoping
I scream out “please forgive me”
Cleanse my soul, erase my misery
Free me…rebirth me to a new
I surrender…I give my life to you
This guilt, this shame
This reputation that comes with my name
Weak, beaten down….a life gone a wrong
A sinners song!

Thank you Shirley.. that means alot
Wow Morris,
I guess i could stay up for a second or two for this one.A song that needs to be heard by all and sung by the many that feels the need to right one if not all of their wrongs a man beat down but never to be entirely broken,A pride that wont hide but will stand for all cause. A song for a man tired of broken melodies and who's plans now are to bring his deliverance home .......for any and all cause...Sing your song Morris and we, that desire this deliverance you have entrusted to those in need of, that head hang low, sinners redemption and we too, will sing right along.....Power in prayer and your prayer has been answered my man....Another jewel for the jeweler.....
Later,

thanks for the words... i like "Another jewel from the jeweler" thanks! Â Man I love to write, its all I do and probably everyday. this poem was actually about me. when i was alot younger and the struggles that i went through as a teen and I remember feeling like what i wrote in this poem. So this poem was written based on my own personal trials.
Thank you so much..Â
