Poem -

Spring and Twinkle

I search the room for trinkets and clues
Opportunities to hinder you
Little gems of fun
Of mystery
Of mischief
To brighten the boring days
and make them interesting
Intricate.

Every task is a game
I gain
Enjoyment
Satisfaction
A sense of accomplishment
From outsmarting you
and loving you
and knowing that you love me too.

And most importantly
I gain
a spring in my step
and a twinkle in my eye
From rising you high
and keeping you there.

A very unique poem.

Favorite part:

I search the room for trinkets and clues
Opportunities to hinder you

(Who is the "You" in the poem?)
Are you talking about a past love that is no longer in your life. Or, are you looking at yourself as a way to reflect?

Thank you for sharing your poem.
I enjoyed reading it.
