Take My Hand

Take My Hand

I said I would never let go
But you left me
My arms extended to slow
And your gone
Where did it all go wrong

My grasp wasn't strongΒ
Palms to sweaty
I could have tried to hold on
If you let me

Dropped from the face of the earth
An earthquake has immersed
Swallowed up by the ground
I try to cry out
But the words just won't come out

I'm screaming inside
I'm sorry
I tried

Hey Richard!!.........I could feel the pain in this piece..........very compelling brother.........but I wasn't quite sure about the reference because the pic made me think you were referring to God.........but by the time I finished I thought it may be about someone close to you.........regardless.......it's VERY moving my friend........well done...........smiles..........TΒ  xx

Thanks guys for your lovely comments. To Tony it was about someone close, trying not to let them go but having no choice in the matter . Xx
