Poem -

The Captor of Her Dreams

The Captor of Her Dreams

It first started when he invaded her dreams
Entering between the panic-stricken themes
He snuck into the lost caverns of her mind
Stirring up seductive clouds, all silver lined

He appeared as valiant knight, fighting for love’s chance
Another time, as an angel of light, guiding romance
Sometimes, he could be floating as sensual ghost
Or, as a sailor, sailing in from off the coast

Once, he mysteriously rode upon a swan
Dressed in mask, playing a convincing Don Juan
Or he would be Zorro, twirling his love’s sword
Whoever he was, she was never ever bored

He portrays her heart’s desires of love, subtly
Soaking in a bath they share, warm and bubbly
By candlelight’s soft flicker, he caresses her soul
Every night in her sleep she hands him control

He comes offering generous affection
All for her heart’s delightful reflection
His soft eyes the same, no matter what his theme
A savior - He became the captor of her dreams

Hi J...Thank you.  I really work on flow and read and reread my lines to see how they feel when read out lot.  So, it means a lot to me that you like my rhythmic flow.  I am a dreamer, so to write of a woman's lover in a dream was fun and natural to do.  I appreciate your kind support. xo ;)

Hey! I think you cheated! You told me I was the X!! LOL.
You're welcome! That was beautifully written, honestly. It's so well put together, and gorgeous. When I write I have a jumble of thoughts that no one has any idea of what's going on with, but it seems mysterious, so they think it might mean something! lol.
You're a very gifted writer!

XXXXXX, Dang! Lost again!

My Dear Cherie,

My wild heart was captured, the first time that we kissed
My dreams came to fruition, such passion I had missed
Dear Don Juan and Zorro, all wrapped up in one
My lifetime of pure ecstasy, finally had begun

All my love,
Larry xxx

Lol...Thank you, dear Larry!  I am so happy you felt the romantic flavor of my write.  I have always loved the stories of Don Juan and Zorro, so I could just see them as part of my poem's romantic scenarios.  Your verses are validating that you felt the romanticism of my write's theme.  Bless you.  Love n Hugs, ;)

Hey T!  Too much work, to be a romantic fantasy huh?  Okay, good to know.  Wish I had known earlier...lol I will always be a romantic at heart and see images of what seems beautiful and inspiring in my mind's eye.  I am glad you liked it.  I had fun with this one. " METAPHORIC APPRECIATION ", of this, one. You slide into the " state " of dreams, so easily. Referring to the complex, and the nature, of  " involvements "....beyond the fantasy elements normally associated, with, that. How, do you do it, that way ? With, visionary expertise. In such a conspicuous " craft-like " manner. That, defines your motivational conceptualizations, born of " realistic " appraisals, of intrinsic instincts and appetites to know, more.
WHAT, NERVE, THAT, SHOWS ? It, really, does. Considering mainstream evidence of popular designs. The worth of, you, is examined in the " words " and the feeling. Why, would that, not be so ? :) :)
YOU SHINE, when and only when, this be the case !! ( :) ) Take the humour " bone " and use, it. " Funny ", hey ? IT, depends on the images, involved.  Of yours, clearly. That shows....how, " good " you are. It, does, so. Honestly. :) I would not lead you, astray...here. You, deserve " respect. "
" YOU, HAVE TO LAUGH, OTHERWISE, YOU WOULD CRY. " Tears of joy, or " heart-break " !! Considering, relevance to the eternal battle, INSIDE. :)
You, know that, well. For, in the sum of those " parts " is expression, and earnest willpower....to understand. Is that, right ?  :)
YOU, SHOULD BE MEASURED, BY WHAT YOU GIVE. And, you give a lot.
To be proud of. That, is my " rationale ", behind it, all.
Anyway, thank you.
TAKE CARE. :)
XXX
Can I say " NICE ONE " ! YES, I DEFINITELY CAN !!!!! Great.

Wow Richard!  I do not know what to say to such a very elaborate commentary of support.  Thank you!  Bless you!  I put into my poetry a very personal part of myself...even in fictional writes, there is an underlining truth of an emotion I feel or want to convey.  Dreams are important to inspire us in our real lives...to feel loved, to seek more in life, to be empowered with inspiration.  I think there is always in eternal battle inside me...and it is expressed in my writing, unconsciously a lot of times...but always a truth there of something I feel or experience.  Thank you for such overwhelming support.  I am so happy you liked my dream state of mind.  You are the best!  xo ;)

YOU, can say, that. I COULDN'T POSSIBLY. :) You, really do react well to stimuli of an analytical nature. And, why shouldn't you ?.....since, you are trying to further yourself, plus advantageous " locational factors " !!!  :)
EVERY DAY, IN EVERY WAY, YOU SEEM TO GET, BETTER. Lovely.
How, " good ".....come " training ", for you ? You, always try to develop more, by constant interaction, where the result affirms potential, as well as relaxed gathering of informative " material " !! You, need, it all....to grow.
YOU, SHOW DEXTERITY WITHIN, LIFE LESSONS.....and the received or perceived maximizing " DEEP IMPACT " from, them.  :) :)
X
" EXPERIENCE " counts.

By " DEEP IMPACT " I meant.....ground-breaking, earth-shattering, shock-waves of the steep " learning " curve. Which, sees you through. Anything. That, is all !! XX  :)
I am sure, you, understand. If, any one, does !! ( :) )
TAKE CARE.

Well, I certainly hope I get better with life experiences...Heaven knows I have made mistakes, but they all shape our lives to what they become in one way or another....lol...and I hope with my writing that it is also with experience defining itself as a part of myself along with it.  Thanks, Richard.  I think God has been generous with His learning curve with  me... ;)   xo

HI Greg....Well, thank you so much.  That is very flattering.  I think we write about what inspires us in life...and I am very motivated by love in my life for sure.  I think our dreams reveal to us what our heart feels and wants to express. Thank you for such support and insight.  xo ;)
