Poem -

The Friend named Sorrow

Joy is a fickle betrayer,
A wandering temptress who comes and goes as she pleases.
Everyone stretches out their hands for her,
And yet she only gives herself to the simple and untested,
You see her displayed on the faces of those not yet crushed by the weight of the world.

Sorrow,
Sorrow is the faithful friend,
The one who will never abandon you but everyone tries to get rid of.
Sorrow is the one hated for shining it’s like on the Truth of the chambers of the Human Heart.
Blessed is the one who does not fear her,
She is a silent friend,
A teacher no one would choose,
But the only friend from which we will never part.
