The Ghetto

The Ghetto

Now take a look over there and tell me what you see
This is life in the ghetto and how it impacted me
Every house, every wall, every woman, every mate
Everybody in the ghetto was so filled with hate
Take a look at that woman high on crack and just crazy
I guess no one looked after her when she was just a baby
Over there is a man getting drunk on his bed
Crying away the fact that his family is dead
Over here is a family trying to survive on some bags
Can't help the feeling but just feel a little sad
Blacks are viewed as thugs with the desire to kill
Whites commit a crime I guess he's mentally ill
Over here is a boy trying to deal with his loss
Approaching his house reading police line do not cross
Now you people can understand and see
This is life in the ghetto and how it impacted me
